Help Find Missing 55-Year-Old Woman, Patricia Nzuza in BC [FOUND]

The Sidney/North Saanich RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating a 55-year-old woman, Patricia Nzuza, who has been missing since April 16, 2023. According to the police report, she was last seen departing Victoria International Airport on a BC Transit Bus. Her family and friends are concerned about her health and wellbeing, as it is unusual for her to be out of contact for such an extended period.

Patricia Nzuza is a Black woman, 168 cm (5 ft 6 in), and weighs 68 kg (150 lbs). She was last seen wearing a long tan coloured coat, thick gold hoop earrings, a dark brown tailored belted shirt, black pants, and white sneakers. Patricia may be traveling with two large hard-sided light pink suitcases, a black backpack with camo strap, and a small dark blue backpack-style purse.

Patricia’s daughter, Naomi Yamba, is asking for help to locate her mother. Patricia’s last known location was in Victoria, BC, where she was supposed to meet an online “friend”. She has been missing for a week, and her family and friends are worried.

The Sidney RCMP have opened a missing-person file for Patricia Nzuza, and her family is urging anyone who may have any information, no matter how small, to contact the police immediately. If you have seen or heard from Patricia or have any information about her whereabouts, please call the Sidney/North Saanich RCMP at 250-656-3931, quoting file number 2023-1808. Alternatively, you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) if you wish to remain anonymous.

Patricia’s family misses her dearly and wants to bring her back safely. We urge those in British Columbia to keep an eye out for Patricia and help spread the word to find her.
